Self-assessment

As established by Resolution 038/2019-CEP, which sets out the system for Self-Evaluation within the scope of UEM's Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programs, self-evaluation must include the following dimensions: Program, Training and Impact on Society, according to the current DAV/CAPES evaluation form. To this end, Resolution 057-2024- PPC-UEM appointed a committee made up of professors Oscar de Oliveira Santos Junior (chairman), Rosane Marina Peralta, Andresa Carla Feihrmann, Tatiana Colombo Pimentel and student representative João Vitor de Araujo Silva. To carry out the self-evaluation process. The committee prepared three questionnaires in the GOOGLE FORMS application, to be answered by the program's supervising professors, academics (master's and doctoral students) and graduates. Each of these forms was made up of sections in order to evaluate the items described in the resolution that instituted the self-evaluation: Program Proposal (evaluated by professors and academics), Research Infrastructure (evaluated by professors and academics), Quality of guidance and advisors (evaluated by academics), Profile of teaching staff (evaluated by professors), Training offered and program standards (evaluated by professors and academics), Academic production and research groups (evaluated by academics) and Impact on society (evaluated by professors and academics).

Once the responses from teachers, students and graduates had been received, each set of answers for each question was evaluated one by one, in terms of the number of teachers who had selected a particular alternative. The distribution of all the responses from teachers, students and graduates was also a way of making an overall assessment of all the questions, thus indicating which items will be a priority to be remedied in the next Quadrennium (2025 to 2028) and whether the goals of the Strategic Planning 2021-2024 have been carried out efficiently. To check out the results of the self-evaluation (click here).
